Cilostazol is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with ischemic disorders of the extremities (pain when walking, ulcers, trophic disorders, paresthesias, sensation of cold) secondary to chronic occlusive arterial disease, such as intermittent claudication. It is also indicated for percutaneous coronary interventions to prevent restenosis.
As a prophylactic agent in secondary cerebrovascular accidents and to prevent thrombosis after stenting.
